Let us quote the review of this historical novel by the Amazon Reviewer Lazaro (top 1500 rank): One word to describe "Princess Jahanara's Notebook": Astounding. In this amazing novel the reader will embark on a journey that digresses on different levels that mixes blends of history combined with mystery and intrigue that is not for the faint of heart. Main character William Marlowe, an English adventurer working for the British Queen's Foreign Service is absolutely stunning on a whole other level. His character is personable, dashing, riveting, and filled with uniqueness that only a master storyteller can provide. In short William witnesses a burglary in a royal palace and where he finds a notebook. Inside that notebook is the secret to finding a lost diamond. The adventure begins and spans over the Middle East, Russia, and Istanbul in the Ottoman Empire. Truly a gripping story that will take the reader away on an all out thrill ride that is full of twists and turns that will leave a lasting impression on the reader. Extremely well written in an astounding fashion that I consider to be a mix between Ken Follet and Indiana Jones.
